We pride ourselves on offering a service that honours the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, human rights, and social justice.

Contract research and interviewers.

Our contract researchers and interviewers work responsively to convey the stories of Māori, Pasifika and Migrant clients specialising in identifying cultural factors with integrity. Sister Sister focuses on bringing authenticity and empathy in creating cultural reports for those appearing in New Zealand courts or being part of a greater body of research. We conduct the Initial interview at a location of the interviewee’s preference and can provide virtual options where needed. A comprehensive assessment is made and a client-centred approach is conducted to ensure best practice for the research/report.

Section 27 Cultural Reports.

The purpose of s27 reports is to provide the court with a greater understanding of the defendant, highlighting their background in a way that results in fair and equitable sentencing and the culminate factors that have driven offending can then be taken into account by the sentencing judge. All S27 Reports are thoroughly researched and presented to be expert, accurate and fit for purpose by the Sister Sister team.

The turn-around for these reports can be done urgently as required.
