Sarah Clare Brown

A Ngāpuhi/Te Rarawa wāhine Māori, Sarah Clare Brown MNZM, is a best-selling author, communicator, producer and founder of multiple community initiatives and non profit ventures like She Is Not Your Rehab. Sarah is passionate about working in the space of family harm prevention and is experienced in creating positive social change from grass root initiatives that spark global change.

Sarah is an experienced and skilled facilitator of group and individual therapeutic sessions and is an ambassador for the Ministry of Social Development’s ‘It’s not Ok’ campaign and Aviva Families; a Canterbury based family violence agency. She works alongside Griffith University’s domestic violence research department with their MATE initiative.

Sarah is currently in her final semester of completing a Bachelor of Counselling and is a passionate advocate for genuine rehabilitative opportunities for those incarcerated.

 

Ngaroma Crown

A Rereahu/Ngāpuhi/Te Rarawa/Ngāti Te Wehi wāhine Māori, Ngaroma is an experienced interviewer and empathetic oral and written communicator who has spent the last decade providing support for multiple non profit and community initiatives including immediate disaster relief and co-ordinating logistics with vulnerable communities.

Over the years she has been honoured to work in collaboration with government and NGO’s in a variety of different capacities and has conducted extensive workplace reviews and audits, specialising in providing clear and comprehensive reports.

 

Negeen Sanaei

A NZ born Iranian, Negeen Sanaei (BSW(Hons)) is a Registered Social worker with a current practicing certificate. Negeen graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Social work with Honours and has a varied work history that includes working for the CDHB at Christchurch Women’s Hospital and for Oranga Tamariki Youth Justice specialising in youth offending and care and protection.

Negeen is a gifted communicator and facilitator, naturally building rapport with clients. She is also experienced in writing s334 and s335 reports for the youth court and was awarded the Muslim resilience award for exemplary service during the March 15th Mosque attack.
